This lecture will address the foundational philosophy of contemporary endodontics: the preservation of the natural dentition whenever feasible. Grounded in an evidence-based clinical framework, the presentation highlights how modern endodontic concepts and techniques enable clinicians to effectively manage complex clinical challenges while maintaining the health, function, and esthetics of natural teeth. Emphasis will be placed on sound clinical judgment and practical, clinically relevant strategies applicable to a broad spectrum of demanding scenarios, including anatomical complexities, endodontic–periodontal lesions, and both surgical and non-surgical management of iatrogenic complications or persistent endodontic infections. Attendees will gain insight into predictable, biologically driven protocols that enhance treatment outcomes even in the most challenging cases, reinforcing endodontics as a scientifically grounded and clinically robust discipline dedicated to the preservation of natural teeth
